Tarek Rabah

Tarek Rabah is a senior executive leader of global pharmaceutical companies. Tarek has spent more than 23 years in Novartis and AstraZeneca. He led divisions and launched several products across multiple therapy areas in the US, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa. In his most recent role, he led the renal-cardio therapy business unit at AstraZeneca in the United States, where he built the team and launched the renal portfolio. Tarek is incredibly proud of launching Healthy Heart Africa program in Sub Saharan Africa while serving as President of the Middle East and Africa region for AstraZeneca from 2008-2016. The program aims to alleviate the burden of hypertension on the continent by working with like-minded partners.
Tarek is a well-traveled professional; he leverages his cultural sensitivity to build collaboration and synergy across teams. In addition to his native Arabic, Tarek is fluent in English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Business Administration from the American University of Beirut, holds an MBA from McGill University, and completed additional executive training at Harvard University.
